Yes. Netrealtynow.com is a licensed broker in your state and a member of the local MLS system.
Is the MLS the best way to sell my home?
Yes. Vast majority of home buyers are working with agents who find properties through the large MLS network.
Is there a “MLS” for property owners selling their own property?
No. There is no FSBO MLS and sellers must go through a licensed agent or broker who is a member of your the MLS to get your property listed.
Will agents with buyers boycott this type of listing?
No. Agents just want to find a property that meets the needs of their buyer and now with the information available to the consumers on the internet it is almost impossible for agents to boycott your listing.
Do I have to pay a commission if an agent sells my property?
Yes. To be listed in the MLS you must offer compensation to the brokerage community.
How much commission do I need to offer?
That is totally up to you. We recommend 2.5-3%. If the offer is to low agents will not want to show your property.
What happens if someone contacts your office directly regarding my property?
If an agent contacts us directly they will be instructed to contact you. If a Buyer contacts us who is not represented by an agent that lead is forwarded directly to you by email.
Can you help if I find a buyer on my own who is not represented by a Realtor?
Yes. Depending on the circumstances we charge 1-1.5% to complete all the paper work to get the transaction to closing.
What telephone number will be on my MLS listing?
Showing instructions in the MLS listed will tell agents to “Deal Directly With Owner” and your contact information will be displayed.
What phone number will be on the web sites that display information about my property?
Rules and Regulations of the MLS and Realtor Association prohibit us from displaying the sellers contact information. All buyer leads we receive from the public internet web sites will be forwarded directly to you by email.
Are there any additional fees with the service?
For the basic MLS service No. Although we do offer other products and services which would incur other fees.
Do I need to come to your office to be listed?
No. Your property can be listed and paid for by our website, fax, and phone.
How does the photo(s) get attached to my listing?
You send photos to us by email and we upload them to your listing.
Will my listing look the same as other listings?
Yes, there is no difference at all.
How do agents show my home?
It depends how you would like it set up. Agents can be instructed to call first to schedule an appointment or a lockbox can be used in case you are not available to show the property. This will be discussed in depth prior to your listing going active in the system.
Where else does my property get listed?
All affiliated websites which can vary from market to market. Realtor.com displays the listing from all markets.
How log does it take to get my property listed in the MLS?
We can have your property listed within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, after we receive all the paper work, photos and payment.
What do I do if I need to make changes to my listing and is there a cost to do that?
Send the change request to changemylisting@netrealtynow.com and reference the full property address in the e-mail. There is no charge for making text edits to your listing.
What do I do if I want to change or add photos and is there a cost to do that?
Send photos to photos@netrealtynow.com us by email and reference property address in the email. There is no charge for adding photos to the listing for there first two times. There is a small charge if you add photos more than 2 times or if you would like to delete all the existing photos and replace (see other products list).
What happens if I find my own buyer who is not working with a real estate agent?
You are free to sell your property to a buyer who is not represented by a Realtor and in that case you would owe no commission what so ever.
Can I cancel at anytime for any reason?
Yes. We just need to have the request in writing by email or fax.
I have a “For Sale By Owner Sign”, should I use a Netrealty sign?
Signs can be very important in marketing your property. FSBO signs can cause confusion after you are listed in the MLS. We recommend using one of our signs, which can be customized with your phone number.
What is the difference between public websites, such as Realtor.com and the MLS?
The MLS is accessed only by Realtors. The public websites are designed for the consumers to find information about properties. Realtor.com is operated by the National Association of Realtors and offers information on property listings nationwide.
Can I go to a website to print and email color brochures of my listing?
Yes. Realtor.com offers the ability to print and/or email color brochures of your listing to hand out to potential buyers.
What are my obligations to NetRealtyNow.com once I pay the service fee and my property is listed?
Keep us notified as to any problems you may experience with real estate agents. Contact us immediately if there is and agreed to change of commission, from what is offered in the MLS, to selling agent. ASAP after a contract is ratified forward a copy to us by email or by fax for our files. ASAP after closing supply us with a copy of the final closing statement (Hud-1).
